My photo making the rounds I see…

Hazarding a guess that this is a roundabout way of saying… “Hi!! I’m really stoked you liked my picture enough to use it on your Tumblr. Would you mind giving me credit please as it’s my photo?” To which I would have responded… “Of course… thanks for getting in touch… have you got a specific photographic website you would like me to link it to or are you happy for me to just tag your Tumblr?”

sleepyhavvk

I mean it’s not one of my professional photos so I’m not going to go crazy on demanding credit. I was just surprised I came across it : ) Maybe credit the link to my original post: http://sleepyhavvk.tumblr.com/post/163698991275/as-usual-my-post-from-the-toronto-30stm-show-my

Thanks!

“2 years ago I went to a concert in a small church venue in a small farm town outside of Columbus, Ohio. There were only 20-30 people there for 4 bands.

One band went up and I had never seen anything like it and managed to move every single person in the crowd. That band was Twenty One Pilots.

Tyler Joseph was transitioning songs and spoke to a silent crowd..

“I believe….” He paused and looked throughout the room. “….in myself” he concluded.

Those four words and the way they were said have resonated in my mind ever since. It’s easily one of the most motivational tales I’ve had a chance to ever witness first hand.

So proud of how far Twenty One Pilots has come and can’t wait to see them change the world.”

Absolutely everything from 0:00 to 0:35.

Nuff said.

“This album feels like a Jared Leto solo album.”

“They´re just trying to appeal to the modern youth, that´s all they´re doing.”

“30 Seconds to Mars seems to have disappeared up Jared Leto´s a$$.”

“Basically I have listened to it so you don´t have to.”

“If I hear another “ooooooooh” or “woooohoooo” on this album I´m gonna f*cking kill myself.”

“I don´t think he knows what people are laughing about.”

(With all due respect: HE KNOWS.)

“In recent years, JL is attempting to be weird for the sake of being weird.”

“Seems like when JL talks about this record, he´s just as out of the loop as the rest of us.”

“I listened to Dangerous Night for the 1st time and the feeling i got was “Why is this happening? Why are you doing this to me?”“

“Did I find something worthwhile? GOD NO.”

This album cover is laughable.

“I have no respect for this album at all.”

“I can´t find anything nice to say about this album. Anything at all.”

“What in the actual a$$?”

“It´s a mess, I dunno why they took 5 years to deliver that kind of record, that´s so lame and so weak.”

“I have never pressed the “skip” button so fast.”

“It´s laughable.”

I know I’ve been shitting a lot of MARS lately. But there’s no denying the impact MARS has had on my life.

The beginning of 2013, I was heartbroken, lost, and alone. My ex was was into them but never really showed me them. So I finally decided to come around and listen to their entire discography and they grew on me, especially TIW. Then I watched music videos and interviews and started to fall in love with them and the community. Later that year I saw them in concert and knew I wanted to be deeper in the Echelon.

Jared in particular I felt connected to. A dropout, not many friends, someone who just loved creating. It was in him I saw myself defined as an artist. It was nice to feel connected to someone when I had lost literally everyone in my life.

Even now when I feel alone, there is the Echelon. I will always be grateful for my friends I made in Europe and the happiness the music (well, except the newest one) has given me. Never in my dreams I’d thought I’d have friends to meet up with across the ocean.

So I feel as though Jared is going through a rougher time lately. Bad album, shat all over a movie role, lost a friend to suicide. Also coming close to 50 can’t feel that nice either. Today I send him healing vibes and comfort from family and friends.

Happy (ageless) birthday Jared Leto. Love always.
